At our house, Sundays are meant for family time. It’s the day we get to bond with
each other whether it’s staying at home all day puttering around or doing something
fun. Sundays always give me a sense of comfort and it’s one of the reasons I enjoy
photographing quiet Sundays with families in their home. There doesn’t need to be a
grand affair. Spending quality time with the ones you love is the most important
thing in life and it deserves to be documented and preserved in a beautiful way.
This lovely Sunday was spent with The Khan family who lives in the suburbs of
Toronto. Life can pass by so fast. Both parents have full-time jobs plus running their
own web design business, both girls are in sporting activities, and in between
dinners and homework, life can go by in a hurry. By documenting an ordinary
Sunday, it gives you an opportunity to look back at the simple moments that truly
make your family special. I was honored to be there to document this day for them.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
I’m a documentary photographer obsessed with preserving small meaningful moments in my own life and the lives of my clients. Before I picked up my own camera, I’d often freeze moments in my mind as I worked as an instructional therapist with children with autism. Now with a family of my own and a camera in my hand, I found myself cherishing the photos that showed real emotion and the true bonds between us. My services are offered within the greater Toronto area. www.AshleyEvePhotography.com
