3. Me Time!
As much as we may love to decorate, creating a Peaceful environment doesn’t need to cost you a dime. A good way to set peaceful vibes in your home is to be at Peace with yourself! As moms, we go in on ourselves about what we should’ve done or said. Release that Mommy Guilt, it’s not needed. Dishes may need washing, clothes may need folding, the floor might need sweeping, and you’ll get to it. But we Moms need TLC. When the kids are asleep, take some time for yourself. Make yourself a priority and do something that helps you relieve stress in a positive way. Take a nice hot bath and relieve some tension. Journaling is also a great way to vent to yourself. I love a good pen and fresh notebook to spill out my thoughts too. Maybe some exercise for 20mins may tickle your fancy. Cardio Yoga is one of my favorite ways to unwind after the day is done. I love giving my heart a good workout without being too hard on my body. Try a little meditation for a few minutes. Before you know it you’ll be feeling more at Peace. You can meditate in the morning (meditation basics: think positively with gratitude) if you’re an early riser. Your patience will increase when waking up your grouchy mini for school or when your mini trys to negotiation. Whatever it is, the more at Peace you feel, the more it transcends into the lives of your children, creating a positive ripple effect. Every move a mom makes our children are following close behind. We set the trend. It may not always be peaceful, and you may wonder if you’ll ever find your way. Please don’t give up. Your Peace is right around the corner.\
